the story was to have a seagull bite off a finger at ten stages and at the end to have the climber get to a dead end with one finger + lose all hope, and the bird to eat it, and the man to fall to his doom, but the bird to have a change of heart and regurgitate a ten-fingered claw and to dive down and pull the nofingered climber to safety but there was only one stage so bye bye story.
